Locally-Sourced, Autumnal Florals at Private Farm
This was a very special wedding for The Floral Touch! I’ve been connected with Isaac & Jordan for a few years now (via business and friendship). Since Isaac owns a farm with a beautiful flower field, I enjoy being able to source his incredible flowers locally for my clients. When Isaac and Jordan asked if TFT would design their flowers for their wedding day, I was thrilled!
The theme was ‘local’. All flower arrangements were grown and designed on-site. The food was grown from their property as well, then prepared by our good friend and professional chef, Merrie! Since it was a fall wedding, we created an elevated autumnal color palette while utilizing their favorite flowers - dahlias. (Fun fact: their flower field grows over 2,500 dahlia tubers every year!)
On the week of the wedding, I designed and prepared florals on their property every day, including full-flowered ceremony columns, autumnal table arrangements, and custom boutonnières! Even though it ended up raining on their big day (thanks PA), we were able to move all their arrangements under a tent and continue without a hitch. It was fabulous!
