This wedding had me in tears from their initial inquiry to the day of their celebration. With influence from both spouses throughout the day, this wedding embodied what a wedding is truly all about.
Mandee, being a librarian, handcrafted flowers made out of book pages that we incorporated into each and every floral design. George has strong Canadian roots, so a few of the paper flowers were adorned with a shilling coin in the middle. The shilling coin (if you don't know) has an edelweiss flower on it. Unfortunately, since I can't obtain that flower, Mandee took it upon herself to hand-felt a few so we could include them in the most special pieces (such as her bouquet and George's boutonnière.)
Other notable moments included: puppets for Pittsburgh creating live versions of their very own pets, matching the embroidered flowers on Mandee's Flora & Lane dress and using extra fabric from her dress in her Mother's wrist corsage, her bouquet, toss bouquet, as well as hanging down from her flower crown.
